Unofficial, approximate letter grade equivalents

These are UNOFFICIAL, and apply only to the mid-session test. I do NOT promise to use the same scale when I convert your overal course score to a letter grade.
SCORE OUT OF 84 APPROXIMATE LETTER GRADE EQUIVALENT

  70-82 A- or A
  55-69 B-, B, or B+
  41-54 C-, C, or C+
   0-40 D, D+ or F

Reminder: You must get at least 50 percent on labs and at least 40 percent on the final exam to pass the course; to have a chance of getting C- or higher, you need at least 50 percent on the final.
