Please note that this Web page will be the main online location
of class announcements and documents—they will not usually
appear on Blackboard.
Blackboard will be used mainly for recording of lab and midterm marks.
Your course instructors are N. R. Bartley and S. A. Norman,
both from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Announcements (newest first)
- May 1, 2012, around 10:20am:
The final exams have all been marked,
and course grades have been determined.
Grades will be visible on your Student Center once they have been
approved by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
You should now be able to see your exam marks on Blackboard.

- April 16, 2012, around 9:30am:
Dr. Norman will be available from 1:00pm to 3:00pm today in
ICT 320 for drop-in exam review help.
(Sorry for not giving more advance notice.)

with Final Exam Information,
including topic coverage, test format, and suggestions for preparation.
- March 23, 2012:
If you have not yet picked up your midterm test, here's what to do ...
- Section 01: You can pick up your test in the Engineering
Undergraduate Office, room EN C 204.
Please bring your U of C ID card.
- Section 02: You can pick up your test at Norm Bartley's office,
room ICT 306.
- March 21, 2012:
Here is

on midterm test scores
and some rough guidance about letter grades.
- March 20, 2012:
All of the midterms have been marked.
Solutions
have been posted.
- March 15, 2012:
A page of links to
old final examinations and solutions is available.
- March 5, 2012, around 9:30am:
The Midterm Information page
has been updated with assignments of students to classrooms.
- February 27, 2012, around 1:10pm:
A page has been posted
with Midterm Information,
including topic coverage, test format, and suggestions for preparation.
There is some information about the test locations, but it's incomplete;
please check for an update about assignments of students to rooms later
this week.
- January 31, 2012:
The midterm test has been
tentatively scheduled for the evening of
Tuesday, March 6.
This date will change only if we discover that a
large number of students have conflicts with other academic requirements.
The test will start at 6:30pm.
The length of the test has not yet been decided,
but it will be between 90 and 120 minutes.
I will post information about the test location later.

Later in the term I will set up a similar page for old final exams.
- January 13, 2012:
Locations for lab periods ...
We expect to have enough seats for all students in ICT 319
and ICT 320.
Please go to one of those two rooms even if your timetable says you
should be in ICT 217.
- January 6, 2012:
Lectures start Monday, January 6.
Lab and tutorial periods will start one week later,
on Monday, January 13.
